What mission?
I don’t see any mission
I don’t see any campaign
I don’t see riots in the street
I don’t see armies of fans marching on Lords
the middle classes don’t do good revolution
they write well, eloquently and analytically to ‘the paper’
they chatter amongst themselves
they accept mediocrity in some vain hope of change, sitting on the fence willing change to happen out of thin air after a long, deep breath
you’ll wait a very long time
England were crap
get angry and DO SOMETHING
your game has been stolen from you
DO SOMETHING FFS
Boz, I completely agree but perhaps you should say ‘modern middle classes’, as revolutions in the past have notably been started by middle-class people, often lawyers.
I’ve said before that as English cricket is still run by and for the counties, that should be the way in for disgruntled supporters. Lobby your local county.
Judging by the recent ousting of Giles Clarke (even if it is a fudge with him being pushed upstairs), the counties are waking up to what’s been going on, no doubt because county chairmen have already been buttonholed by angry people like us – and of course their attendance figures are dropping like stones.
Yes indeed. That would be a good start.

KP going to Sunrisers Hydrabad with Morgan and Bopara. Tom Moody is the coach there and Dhawan and Warner should be opening the batting.
The news has brought the haters out BTL:
