South Africa vs England: 1st T20

Apologies for the tardiness of the post, meetings etc this morning.

Today is the first of two matches between the sides with the World T20 looming on the horizon. Comments on the game below, and a review of it to come later.

The women’s match is coming to a conclusion at the time of writing. These double headers are a great idea for getting people into the ground, and of course ensuring television coverage.

I’ve only just turned on and they’ve gone pear-shaped very quickly.

Another great 50 by you know who in tough T20 conditions today…

I think I’m done with England Cricket. The talking heads on Sky keep telling us how good this young team is but actually they’re not really are they.
    Nice 50 KP.

Nasser was talking earlier about the difference in IPL experience between England and South Africa…

I think Nasser is just trolling these days with his comments. Cannot be that unaware of what he is saying

Twitter raging against Topley for his last over and pretty much ignoring the batting failure. Thankless task death bowling and better to make the mistakes now.

There will always be a Twitter rage for a death bowler. Like they have complete control of the situation. Pretty much all bowlers will get slapped around the park, the only bowler you will back for about 50% of the time is Malinga. And perhaps Starc.
