The New Header Photographs

Some of you will probably have noticed the new header photos, put up from various Oval and Lord’s tests in the last 10 or so years, and a little county cricket. So while we wait for TLG’s post summing up the Tests, which we should have tomorrow, I thought I’d hold the line today. These are the full versions of the cropped headers.

They look great. Particularly spectacular effect on the Kumble image. What process or software do you use?

Snapseed. For android. Don’t seem to do it for Windows which would make it so much easier.

I seem to recall Google bought snap seed and you can use it in chrome. Can’t remember how though, you’d have to Google it!

I did notice them! The Monty one is particularly fab. They have a lovely ‘classic’ cigarette-cardy look.

And in some pictures the processing seems to accentuate the depth of field so that the audience appears in sharper detail and closer to the players, which is highly appropriate for the site 🙂

I really liked the Panesar one. My faves, and both come up as headers, are two Amla pics.
