Some of you may have noticed that there’s been a little change up above.
I’ve been messing about with some of my old pictures and put them in the Header after using some photo imaging stuff. There’s now about 50 or so different pics, so you might see some you like. There’s Jos, Jacques, Hashim, KP, Alviro, Rob, Chris and many, many more….
They are all cropped. I thought I’d put a few in full on here….
I love taking pictures of the games I go to, and I don’t use too many on here (and The Extra Bits never really took off). Hope you like them.
Excellent picture of Ramps. The blurred background means you look at him then with his dishevelled look you have the bit of wool sticking out of his jumper. The light on his face too. It just goes well.
Have you heard about the rule of thirds in photography? http://www.photographymad.com/pages/view/rule-of-thirds
I feel that is what is needed in the fourth picture down.

Bob,

I admit to knowing nothing about photograph techniques and it probably shows. However, I think I’m not bad at pointing and clicking and then using Snapseed! But the link was interesting. The Ramps pic was taken with my newer camera, while the Hick one (the fourth) with an old one (and a big well done if anyone can tell me the ground that is being played on) that was the last Christmas present I got from my mum and dad.
Cheers for the comment though. I do what I can…

Dmitri, get yourself on the above course. A friend bought it for me as a Christmas present a few years back. It was excellent and great fun. He strips down the art of taking pictures, no auto focus or aperture settings and he makes you think about what you are doing. If you like photography you will love it. He is a really nice guy and a very good teacher.

Excellent Dmitri. I find taking photos of cricket tricky, probably because of the timing, and you’ve grabbed so many fine ones
